Firstly you must really have the conveniences of a home so space can be an issue. You’ll need a kitchen area, a bathroom, a washing machine, a bedroom, a living area, perhaps even a computer or a laptop and plenty more.
There’s also the issue with the address. You may constantly be on the move but organisations and governments like addresses, otherwise they will not know where to send you important information, and it’s ideal if you have a plot or a marina space so you will always have a place to receive mail.
You must also think about electricity, water and heating, and there are many specialist energy providers out there for boaters, so while it can be a great way to live, there does have to be an awful lot of preparation beforehand.
